This is the seventh time Vietnam has been awarded the title of Asia’s Leading Destination and the third time it has won the Asia’s Leading Heritage Destination award. These titles are not only a source of pride but also a testament to the strong and sustainable development of Vietnam’s tourism industry in recent years.
World Travel Awards – referred to as the ‘Oscar of the travel industry,’ is a leading global awards system that honors the best organizations and destinations in tourism, travel, and hospitality. Vietnam’s continued recognition in important categories demonstrates the growing appeal of the S-shaped country on the world tourism map.
Not only is Vietnam remarkable for its magnificent natural landscapes such as Ha Long Bay, Son Doong Cave, Mu Cang Chai terraced fields, and Phu Quoc beach, but it also boasts a rich system of cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO, thousands of traditional festivals, ancient craft villages, and distinctive cuisine.
It is the harmonious combination of nature, culture, people, and services, along with a focus on sustainable tourism development, that has created a Vietnamese tourism brand increasingly competitive at both regional and international levels.
