Vietnam participates in the 62nd ASEAN National Tourism Organizations Conference.
On August 4, 2025, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Nguyen Thi Hoa Mai led the Vietnamese delegation attending the 62nd ASEAN National Tourism Agency Conference held in Boracay, Philippines.

Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Nguyen Thi Hoa Mai attended the 62nd ASEAN National Tourism Organization Conference.
In her opening remarks at the conference, Ms. Verna C. Buensuceso, Undersecretary of the Department of Tourism of the Philippines and Chair of the Conference, affirmed that the tourism cooperation mechanism in recent times has achieved significant effectiveness through the activities of various committees and specialized working groups. Ms. Verna confirmed the commitment to ASEAN cooperation in the spirit of ‘One Vision, One Identity, One Caring and Sharing Community’, with countries actively preparing to complete the ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan 2016-2025 and developing a new ASEAN Tourism Industry Plan that aligns with new goals.
At the conference, Deputy Director Nguyen Thi Hoa Mai praised the efforts of ASEAN member states and the ASEAN Secretariat in implementing the ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan 2016-2025, especially as it approaches the final phase. Since the beginning of this year, many projects and events have been completed, contributing to the overall progress of the Plan.
